EXPANDING THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT: Virtual learning - 10 million by 2014

Virtual learning is truly a vehicle that can propel a student's learning to new heights and a world of learning that cannot be cultivated in the classroom.

Parents and colleagues, I am expanding my knowledge and commitment in the virtual learning community.  Although virtual learning has been around for awhile, it is gaining expansion as technology facilitate meeting the Educational needs of our diverse student population.

Virtual learning serves to meet the needs of students in a variety of conditions, from the high academics of rural communities to the homeschoolers to students who may not  physically be able to attend a school.

Therefore parents, the blogging  community is very important in developing the needs and understanding of the online student and virtual learning communities. These tools in the digital learning world is open to discussion.

So  I ask:
 - Parents, how can we help you meet your child's needs through virtual learning?

-Colleagues, what knowledge can you give to the student and parent community to understand the value of virtual learning to meet the educational needs of a diverse world?

- How do we use blogging and other media vehicles to facilitate virtual learning?
